Purpose of A Year of War
This site has been developed to celebrate Frank & Sarah Elizabeth Whitehead and the period of 1917-18. It has been created in honour of their daughter Brenda and her sisters Olive and Eileen. It is not a commercial venture and has no paid content, advertising or links.  We hope you enjoy it.
